I'm Calling This "My Food Fotography" :P

Recently I've taken to photographing food. I absolutely love food, and I really do think it can be quite pretty, especially when its whole foods. The soup is a minestrone my mom made from scratch, the salad is mixed greens and spinach with vegetables, the cutting board is filled with toppings for homemade burritos, complete with hand-rolled tortillas, and the spoon is full of some freshly made salsa! Typing all that about food has made me hungry! I'm off to eat!

Colonial Trip!

 So I haven't finished my post I'm planning yet, but I did want to share some photos I took at Colonial Williamsburg! My friend was heading up there to sing at a church, so we went up there early and ran around Colonial Williamsburg for a few hours! Iv'e been there a few times and I love it. We went to the markets and watched a marching band and my friend got his favorite chapstick from one of the stores! The scenery at Colonial Williamsburg is gorgeous and there's always tons to do! Hopefully I can visit again.

So, this week the weather was absolutely glorious, so we went to the beach multiple times!

Realization

So its me, just casually sitting in my room, watching the bells of saint john (doctor who episode) and drinking a mug of hot english breakfast tea, when it occurred to me. My brain thinks I'm british.

I am always buying things for no reason whatsoever other then they have the british flag on them (the thing in the pic my sonic screwdriver is sitting on is a nail polish box, which my mum got for me, specifically because it had a british flag on it) I consume an obscene amount of hot tea (english breakfast by twining's of england, yum), and my favorite shows consist of everything BBC (Merlin, Doctor Who, Downton Abbey). My mum has gone thrifting and saw an XL T- shirt (keeping in mind that I'm and XS guys) that was waaaaaay too big for me. Why did she buy it you ask? It said london, england on the front, and had a british flag. Yep. And I keep trying to get my family members to drink hot tea, but my cousin told me his favorite tea was lipton (no. just no.) and when I made him some proper tea he said it tasted like dishwater (blasphemy to all us tea drinkers, I know). I also made him watch an episode of Doctor Who (the eleventh hour, cuz he's never seen it) and he didnt like it. He didn't like Doctor Who. I made him watch another episode.
